Scenario 1 - Using Zone 1 Parking Permit:

Maria purchased a Zone 1 parking permit for $60. This allows her to park in Zone 1 lots, which offer more affordable and remote parking options. Maria parks in Lot E33 north of the baseball stadium in Edinburg. To get to her classes, she takes a VOLT shuttle at the designated stop by Lot E33. Maria doesn't mind parking farther away because she saves money with her Zone 1 permit and VOLT provides convenient transportation around campus.

Scenario 2 - Using Zone 2 Parking Permit:

John bought a Zone 2 parking permit for $105. With this permit, he can park in both Zone 1 and Zone 2 lots. Zone 2 generally offers parking that is closer to the campus buildings. John likes to park in Lot B2 which is in Zone 2 and within walking distance of his nursing classes. He appreciates the convenience of being able to park near academic buildings with his Zone 2 permit, even if it costs a little more than a Zone 1 permit.
