AI-Enhanced: Rules & Judging

Acceptable Artwork: AI-Generated or AI-Enhanced Imagery (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E 3) and Hybrid Creations that combine your own work with AI-generated elements.

Copyright Note: The student must ensure they own the copyright to their submission. Since AI cannot hold copyright, you must incorporate your own unique touches that qualify the work for copyright protection.

Required "Proof of Work": You must submit a list of AI tools and prompts used, screenshots of intermediary steps (e.g., prompt screens), and any layered files if further edits were made.

Judging Criteria:

• Prompt Creativity & Strategy (25%): Are the prompts detailed and imaginative?
• Human-Led Artistic Direction (20%): How much did you shape or transform the AI output? Is there a clear personal touch?
• On-Brand & Holiday Relevance (30%): Does the final piece fit UTRGV's brand, holiday spirit, and 10th-year theme?
• Innovation & "WOW" Factor (25%): Does the design showcase the potential of fusing technology and creativity?
