Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Grad Momentum Incentive? Is it a scholarship or financial aid?
The Grad Momentum Incentive provides up to $2,000 in financial support to eligible new and re-admitted graduate students. Funding may come from various institutional sources such as the Gateway Scholarship, Graduate Select Scholarship, or Graduate Resource Grant.

However, students who earned their first master’s degree from UTRGV or UTPA are not eligible.
